if he pulls it off he'll deserve a medal. Which is convinient because it will be at the olympics and they have lots.

The Olympics bow

The opening ceremony bow

The BBC Sports website/coverage bow

The volunteers bow

The organisation of everything; from the transport to the check-in / bag searching stuff bow

Greenwich Park and the Equestrian Eventing (which Team GB just won a silver medal in) on Saturday bow

All the other events (the womens volleyball, hockey, men's singles badminton, gymnastics, swimming etc that have all been dead exciting) bow

bow You are all fools for not getting tickets. It's bloody fantastic there. I wish I was going back every day.

I was in London during the weekend it seemed ok, missed and yet to catch up on the opening ceremony.

I still don't think I'd enjoy being there more than I'd enjoy dipping in and out of it in my own time to be honest.

The BBC Sports website/coverage bow
Some of the TV coverage has been appalling. TBF though they're limited by the olympic broadcasters.

I feel as though in the lead-up to these olympics, everyone has forgot about the sport itself.

TV coverage appalling? Yeah it's terrible how there's only 24 HD channels showing every single sport live, as it it happens, without ad breaks...  huh

we're not all posh enough to live close enough to go to London or afford (let alone obtain) loads of tickets.

Plus whilst I love the beeb video feed, the website is pretty horrific at finding things at times.

I mean in terms of commentary/on-screen information etc. And I was watching some of the cycling on Sunday, after the race finished it seemed as though whoever was controlling the video feed went for lunch and left a child in control.

there is an issue that the Olympic broadcaster direction seems to switch off when they assume the various national TV services would've cut away to their bits and the BBC isn't catching it all because they're not staffed to host and present on all 24 channels. But it is better than nothing, especially better than what NBC is offering the Americans by all accounts.
