well raising a child in Merthyr could be considered child abuse at the very least.


I've been eating meat all my life and I'm perfectly healthy.


People shouldn't be trying to tell people what not to eat, just how much.
And a poorly planned vegetarian diet is very bad too.

PETA is to responsible husbandry of the animal kingdom what muslim terrorists or extreme Christian Fundamentalism is to faith issues.  Giving PETA the publicity they seek is to play into their hands.  It would be better if their sign was simply ignored and "parents" got concerned over the issues that have been proven to contribute to obesity, and self indulgence.

PETA is a "religion" or worldview, and there should be as much separation between their statements and civic support as there is between their "belief" system and science.  One has very little to do with the other.
