Hey, just been watching a DVD I picked up called 'How to start your own country' and thought I'd apply to join the country nearly a decade later
, though it appears there's been a revolution of sorts, an exodus to a new cyber territory and a mass emigration of former citizens away from the great nation of Lovely. In the episode I was just watching, HM King Rasputin I mentioned the amazing rate of growth of the nations population, and the fact that the population, of 11 thousand and something, had, on the day of that episode, exceeded that of Tuvalu, so I am saddened that I am apparently one of just 515 citizens today. As self-appointed mathematician of Lovely (Mathemalovelyian?) I have calculated that had the rate of population growth stayed consistent for the last ten years and had citizens been successfully retained, then the nation would now have a population of around 5.258 million Lovelyians, which is slightly more citizens than Norway, and just short of the population of Slovakia, and would have placed us about 117th most populous nation in the world. As it is our population no longer exceeds even the Vatican, although offical intelligence sources (wikipedia) tell me there is one non-autonomous country we do comfortably exceed.... the Pitcairn Islands (official population: 56 humans and quite a lot of Murphy's Petrels).
On an unrelated note will there be any special celebrations this year for HM King Rasputin I's Tin Jubilee (or Aluminium Jubilee if HM prefers Aluminium to Tin), a whole decade on the throne? Will his majesty declare an official bank holiday on the exact date of his jubilee?
